I wanted to write a blog post today but I didn't feel like writting something that I would then proceed to edit it into perfection and edit the realness and imperfection out of, so I recorded an audio clip.
The push to do more never seems to stop.
I want to do this and I want to do that and oh no I don't have time to take a day off. But I will be lazy and waste a whole day "trying to work".
I believe this comes from my inner voice telling me that there isn't enough room for everyone to be successful. That there are people out there passing me up and I am being left behind. But does that really matter? There's plenty of ways to be successful and if being successful comes at the price of happiness is it really worth it? And when you get this success will you really feel satisfied with it or will you continue to want more? Something unreachable.
Today I went to a morning dance party, interviewed my friend Kenny, and went to a BBQ on a Downtown Los Angeles Rooftop.
